THE SHADOW OF THE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

~ a practitioner's workshop ~

 with Jim Fitzgerald

DATE: Saturday 13th November 2010

This is a clinical seminar, particularly aimed at those who are currently practising psychotherapists. Issues of boundaries and containment in therapy will be explored, and emphasis will be placed on matters that arise in the transference through the constellation of the therapist's shadow. The image of the Wounded Healer will be discussed, and the Grimm Fairy Tale, Godfather Death, will be explored in order to illuminate further issues for therapy that may arise from the unconsciousness of the therapist.
